Humble Beginnings

Floyd Duncan and his wife, Sherry, established Duncan Exterminating on February 1, 1981. Floyd's journey in pest control began in 1969 with Orkin Exterminators, where he quickly rose to a sales position, earning President’s Club honors four times. In 1975, he joined Getz Exterminating, advancing to branch manager within two years. Despite the success, Floyd felt compelled to start Duncan Exterminating. It all started in 1989 in Gainesville from his 1974 C-10 Chevy pickup truck. By 2005 a second office was opened to service our Dawsonville friends.

Duncan Exterminating is a full-service pest control business located in Gainesville & Dawsonville, GA. Our goal is always to provide superior customer service at reasonable rates. We continually strive to improve our service by utilizing the latest improvements in pest control materials and technology. At Duncan, we truly care about our customers. We fully understand that our company’s success completely depends on our customer’s complete satisfaction. At Duncan Exterminating, we are grateful that God has richly blessed us with a wonderful staff and customers. We hope to serve our fellow man better in the years to come.
